I haven't had the chance to play Homecoming yet (and even after hearing all the bad reviews I still want to play it LOL) but Kelsey sent Audrey the soundtrack the other day and AAH I LOVE THIS SONG.
It's so creepy but fun at the same time ahaha. I was kinda surprised when I heard it, because it doesn't exactly sound like a Silent Hill type of song to me.

and omg, I have that game and it's so fun *A* I didn't ever look at reviews, I didn't know it had a lot of bad ones XD
it's like..a lot more fun that the other Silent Hill games I've played [even though I've only played part of #4 and that's pretty much it. but that ones boring so I never get far in it lmao]

noodles are very important, yes.
It got like, a lot of mixed reviews I guess. Some reviews were like "Yeah it's pretty good :D" and others were like "It was really unoriginal."
And none of my friends really had anything good to say about it, so that was sort of.. ehh D: I still refuse to think badly about it until I play it myself though haha :<
If you haven't played Silent Hill 2 yet, I really recommend it. It's an extremely good game (and the soundtrack is awesomeee).

I have played through some of Homecoming, and I'll tell you that it isn't as BAD as some reviewers make it sound. And a lot of reviewers were biased because the game borrowed a few elements from the film (like the way it turned into SH). And that they made the combat fucking DECENT. Its ridiculous. Homecoming is NOT the best SH out there, but it is still a very good game. I think you would like it. And some of the areas are really fucking creepy.
I dunno, I enjoy it and it does freak me out. Though Pyramid Head is in the game and that seems...ugh. :\ Out of place, but whatever.
And it does scare me. Then again, it just seems I'm a wimp in games.
I agree with your rather try it out for myself stance. Reviewers tend to be very biased.

Yeah, I am definitely not expecting it to be the best SH game. I just can't imagine it being as bad as some people say it is 8(
I have heard a lot of complaints about Pyramid Head being in the game, and I personally think it sounds a little strange for him to be in there as well LOL... I love Pyramid Head and all, but from the sound of it, they probably should have left him out :<
I hope I get the chance to play the game for myself soon thoughh. I'm really curious about it. And as for the reviewers-being-biased thing.. yeah I don't put a hell of a lot of thought into what reviewers say 8( After reading what some reviewers said about .hack, I can't say I really agree with reviews all the time, ahaha :<
