A whole lot of game rambling under the cut LOL D:


Well first of all, I beat Hotel Dusk: Room 215 today *v* Yay. I know this game has been out for a while now, but I'm gonna talk about what I thought of it anyway because I hadn't played it until my birthday LOL.
I really liked this game. Best birthday gift I received, I think XD There were some sections where I was kind of bored with it, but overall, the storyline was pretty interesting.
I was really impressed with the art. The expressions the characters made all looked genuine, and the sketchiness of the style was something I don't think I've ever seen in a game before. The way they made the characters black and white against the colored backgrounds was interesting and made them stand out a lot. Cool approach; I thought it worked really well.
The characters themselves were the best part of the game in my opinion. Really excellent characters. There were no characters that I didn't like, actually. Kyle was my favorite because he was so funny LOL. Took sarcasm to a whole new level. Everyone was great, though; I really liked Rosa and Louis especially. (And I kinda wish Angel had been a more prominent character because I liked him a lot too LOL ;__; He was a cutie, even if his personality was... kind of icky ahahaha.)
I kinda wish there'd been more closure with Bradley, I think...? idk... at the end, there was so much happening that maybe there was good closure with him and I just didn't understand it. It all got kind of chaotic at the ending lmao :(
ANYWAY yess I liked this game, definitely recommend it.


Moving on to VINDICTUSSS oh man I'm devastated about it. It was released for beta testing yesterday, and I waited FOREVERRRR for it to download only to find that my graphics card is too shitty to run it LMAO ;___; I'M SO SADDDD. I've been looking forward to this game for eons now.
Audrey's laptop can run it, though, so she let me borrow her laptop for a bit. tbh the game was lagging so fucking badly that I couldn't do anything more than skid through the prologue and make my character :( It seems like it would be an excellent game, but holy crap I don't think I know anyone with a computer nice enough to run it with no lag LOL :( Everything seems like... pretty advanced? I dunno.
BUUUT Audrey and I did both make our characters. I like the girl characters a LOT better than the boy ones, but I didn't know what male ones looked like when I chose my gender, and even now that I know what they look like, I would have chosen a male because of the combat style male characters have.

This one's mine... but his eyes look like, scary as fuck when he looks around because of the light color I chose LOL

OKAY AND THIS IS THE LAST GAME I'M GONNA RAMBLE ABOUT, I SWEAR.
G11 was released for Mabinogi FUCK YESSSSSS!!! I haven't done any of the storyline shit yet but MONOCLES WERE RELEASED omg I am one happy camper. I have my character dressed up like a butler a lot, so the monocle kinda completes the look, harharhar.
AND THE NEW ACTIONS oh my god they are too frickin fun.

The castle that was added is really pretty *-* I liked the garden a lot, hahaha.

SO FANCY.

One of the things they fixed that I GREATLY appreciate is the option to skip all trans cutscenes. Holy shit that was annoying. I'm a frickin champion now; I'm pretty sure I know what the trans cutscene looks like at this point and I don't need to watch it every time I trans LOL...

OK OK enough rambling for now. I'll continue once I've actually done some of the mainstream quests harharhar.
