I had my math placement test today. I failed getting into Math 111 by one point. I don't think I've ever been so happy about failing a test LMAO. That shit was WAY over my head and I defffinitely need a remedial course before I'm ready for 111. I'm pretty sure the only reason why I even got as high of a score as I did was because I'm just really good at guessing. And I didn't completely fail the test, so I only have to take one remedial course as opposed to two. I'm looking forward to taking math a little more now that I feel like I've been put in the right class.

I know I tend to throw a lot of Shin Megami Tensei music at you guys, BUT OH WELL, HERE, HAVE SOME MORE OF THEM.

I never really got into the first Persona game to be perfectly honest. (WAY too many random battles, the storyline was failing miserably to catch my interest, the battles were a bit too complex for my liking and I couldn't get the hang of it, mazes/maps were overwhelming, etc...) HOWEVER, I do lovvve the soundtrack *v*

ANYWAYYYY I gotta get to work on this godawful philosophy project. My group is really nice but that doesn't make up for how crappy the assignment is LOL :(

Is it just me, or is this game getting increasingly darker? I think it's always had some dark undertones, but they're pretty outright about it now hahah.
Even the music is getting creepier imo.

I'M NOT COMPLAINING, I'M JUST SURPRISED! The shadow realm especially surprised me when it was first released. I don't think any of the dungeons are nearly as eerie as the shadow realm (except Peaca holy shit that place gives me chills) so it certainly wasn't something I was expecting hahah.

Bear with my Persona 4 fantarding; I'm really into P4 (yet again) at the moment. You can blame Audrey for that :< Okay, firstly, I love all the DRRR!! ending spoofs I'm seeing around, but I especially got a kick out of this one. LOL A P4 ONE. I love it |D Igor made me fucking crack up ahahah.

Also, I finally decided to quit being lazy a few days ago and finish the True ending on P4, but I don't think I ever mentioned it here? So I guess I'll talk about it now.
First I will say that I was SO FREAKING FRUSTRATED because I actually beat the damn boss (which was a sheer miracle because I was pretty underleveled) but then my disc fucked up and froze on the ending cutscene. SOBBB I WAS SO SAD. I mourned for a while and then tried again a while later. Beat it again, and that time my disc didn't mess up so YAAAY.
I didn't particularly like the ending, to be honest. It was like... really corny? LOL. I mean, the regular ending is corny too, but this one was bad enough to make me laugh. It was sweet that everything ended so nicely and happily, but still, it was portrayed in a kinda cheesy manner.
Setting that aside though, I did enjoy the fight against Izanami. It was pretty challenging, but it was intense *v* I liked it. I thought the music was great too. Music is like, one of the most important parts of a game for me (LOL I KNOW THAT SEEMS KIND OF WEIRD BUT IT IS) so it was definitely pretty important for the music to be good. I have to admit that it was a lot different than I was expecting, though!
This is the song that played during Izanami's first form:

It's... pretty dark? A lot of battle music in Persona games are more "fun," I think. (Even boss battle music, which is frequently darker than normal battle music, tends to be something that sort of makes you want to dance, you know? LOL.)
But I like it! It was good for Izanami.
This was the one that played during her second form:

This song completely caught me offguard. Still fits the Izanami fight very well, but it's SO slow, and it feels even darker than Fog. There's even this part where the music just like, stops. IT WAS PRETTY INTENSE FIGHTING TO THIS, MAN. But to be honest, I completely hate the end of this song. Incorporating Reach Out to the Truth was a cute idea, but I don't think it worked at all, since Reach Out to the Truth is a relatively upbeat song, and the majority of The Genesis isn't upbeat in the slightest. So yeah the end of the song sort of disappointed me :( Overall, I much prefer Fog, but fighting Izanami while The Genesis was playing was really cool hahaha.

ANYWAYYY... moving on. (lol I'm so sorry to those of you who haven't played P4; please excuse my rambling ;__;)

I didn't have class today :< Dr. Mandt said there was a slim possibility that we wouldn't have class today, but it wasn't likely, so I was sort of surprised that class was canceled. Kinda sucked driving all the way to WSU for nothing, since it's a ways from my apartment. And even though we didn't have class, he still made sure there was a professor there to hand out our exams LOL ;__; So cruel, giving us an exam even when class is canceled...! Oh and as for art, I inked and colored my doodles from yesterday. The image is way to large to post here, so here's the dA link. Being a fan of Silent Hill music, I have of course been familiar with this song for quite some time. However, I had never really LISTENED to it (that is, paid much attention to it) until today. I was sort of surprised at the lyrics! It's a pretty hopeful song, even though the music itself is kind of dark/eerie. I really like this song at the moment, hahaha.

for some strange reason, during the past week or two, my hair somehow acquired the worst split ends in history, so I had Audrey trim my hair today. Looks sooo much better now, but I do have to admit that I'm a little sad, because it looks just a bit shorter and I'm trying so hard to grow it out ;__; Booooo... But one of my biggest hair pet peeves is when I see those fools who have hair down to their asses but the split ends are fucking awful. I'm like "uh okay long hair is pretty and all WHEN IT'S HEALTHY, YOU RETARD. TRIM THAT SHIT." so I'm not about to be one of those people rofl.

Oh and this is off topic but

I should be sick of this song by now, since I hear it SO MUCH while playing Persona, BUT INSTEAD OF GETTING SICK OF IT, I JUST WANNA HEAR IT MORE LOL. I actually disliked this song (a lot) the first time I heard it... but every time I had to listen to it during a battle, I slowly started to like it more and now I'm just totally addicted to it LOL ;__;

I've been listening to Siren soundtracks lately. (Siren 1 and Siren: Blood Curse/New Translation, to be specific. I don't know a damn thing about Siren 2, honestly D: I wonder if it's any good?)

This song makes me laugh. In a span of like, one minute, the song changes twice so it sounds like three completely different songs LMAO. I do like the way it sounds though P: Especially the middle section 'cause it's creepy.
What the hell is up with there being like FIFTY DIFFERENT VERSIONS of 奉神御詠歌(/Hoshingoeika?) though omg. I know it's kind of like, Siren's trademark song, but the Blood Curse soundtrack has... what, seven different edits of it? LOL WHY? They all sound almost identical imo ahahaha. I do like the New Translation edit though. I thought it fit the final boss fight really well. (TRIPPIEST BOSS FIGHT EVER BTW... I felt kind of sick while watching it because of that kaleidoscope-esque background rofl.)
In general, I don't think the original Siren's soundtrack is quite as fun to listen to as Blood Curse's, but it's still really creepy. It sounds a lot better while playing the game than just listening to it by itself in my opinion, I guess.

Anywayy... I think I've rambled enough about that LOL.
So uh.. have a WIP.

D: I can't focus on this drawing at all unghh. I'm pretty close to being done with the lineart though, and that's the part that takes the longest.
