ok i didn't realize i actually use this blog for organization purposes. like a LOT. i used the tags as a means to quickly find references of my characters and to get to specific drawings of other characters too aand yeah i am feeling kind of like i need that back b/c tumblr's tags are sort of.... not nearly as clean as blogger's imo.

Man, I knew my day was going to be weird when my painting professor rushed into class this morning and exclaimed, "IT'S FISH MARKET MONDAY!!"
Our "surprise still life" today was... fish. Like, dead fish from the market. Our studio smelled HORRIBLE oh god. I'm always worried I smell bad when I leave painting anyway, since oil paints have a pretty strong smell, so today I didn't even want to leave the studio because I was afraid I'd smell like fishy paint to anyone outside the painting room LOL ;__;

I was supposed to have a quiz in philosophy today, but the entire class period went by and the professor didn't mention anything about it, so finally some girl was like, "Weren't we supposed to have a quiz today?" and he was like, "........QUIZ ON WEDNESDAY! :D" LOL damn I sort of wish that girl hadn't mentioned it since he had clearly forgotten /sob.
Aw well, I'm semi-confident with the material so hopefully I'll do okay.

You know, I really hate how a lot of my characters are way old... So their names are either stupid because I named them when I was younger and kind of a retard, or their names just simply don't fit the character anymore. (And on very rare occasions, the name turns out to be a potty word in a different language lololfaen.)
I hate renaming characters though, because in my head I'll always think of them as their original name 8(
Someday I'm gonna have to suck it up and rename some of my characters anyway ahaha. (Trois being one of them. /sob)

I'm annoyed because I love Chaotic-Muffin's art and I am familiar with that drawing, so it's like, HOW DID I NOT NOTICE HOW SIMILAR MY PICTURE WAS? God, fucking stupid. Like, I was really happy with how that picture was coming out too, but I don't want to post it because it does look painfully similar to Mephistopheles and I don't want people to think I copied Chaotic... I always sucked at Resident Evil because I'm one of those freaks who has to save every five minutes, and you have to have a fucking ink ribbon to save. Fortunately, I hadn't had to deal with a game like that since.
AND THEN YOU SHOW UP, KUON. ARGGGH. Kuon's worse than RE because of limited saves in combination with the lack of a health bar (unless there's a health meter somewhere that I just haven't noticed yet but I'm 98% certain that isn't the case) so it's hard to tell if the damn character is dying or not.

I was extremely superstitious about Friday the 13th for years and years, because I had a very awful Friday the 13th when I was six or seven years old. I think that day was simply a (very, very) cruel prank by God, because I have not had a bad Friday the 13th since... So I've kind of abandoned my superstitious thoughts about this day. I will admit that I still get just a little nervous every time one of these days rolls around, though. haha.
I don't want to jinx it, but so far, today has been yet another Friday the 13th without bad luck.
