In the first version of downpour, Ashton was really... normal? LOL but when I started revising the story, he turned out to be someone kind of in need of mental help ahahaha.

Aaaanyway...
Today was kind of bumpy at first, but it turned out to be pretty good! I've been stressing really bad about financial aid for next year because I mailed WSU the tax crap they needed for a pell grant, but quite some time had passed and they still hadn't received it, so I was like "DAMMIT WTF." but they FINALLY got it today whewwwww. Still dunno how much money I'll receive (if any) but at least the whole financial aid deal is in motion again.
There was also a huge problem with Dad's medical bills that was stressing me out, because his insurance company was being really stupid and refusing to pay the bill for this surgery he had so that was REALLY SCARY (expensive!!!) but they got it all worked out and the insurance company is going to cover it. HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF.

Man, I knew my day was going to be weird when my painting professor rushed into class this morning and exclaimed, "IT'S FISH MARKET MONDAY!!"
Our "surprise still life" today was... fish. Like, dead fish from the market. Our studio smelled HORRIBLE oh god. I'm always worried I smell bad when I leave painting anyway, since oil paints have a pretty strong smell, so today I didn't even want to leave the studio because I was afraid I'd smell like fishy paint to anyone outside the painting room LOL ;__;

I was supposed to have a quiz in philosophy today, but the entire class period went by and the professor didn't mention anything about it, so finally some girl was like, "Weren't we supposed to have a quiz today?" and he was like, "........QUIZ ON WEDNESDAY! :D" LOL damn I sort of wish that girl hadn't mentioned it since he had clearly forgotten /sob.
Aw well, I'm semi-confident with the material so hopefully I'll do okay.

IRL story tiem omg.
When Audrey and I went to pick Dad up from the hospital, I accidentally pulled into the nun part of the hospital. (You know how hospitals all have chapels, right? There were signs in this parking lot that were like "Sister parking only" LOL.) I was like, "Wait, this isn't the E.R..." and Audrey was like, "GOOD JOB AUTUMN, YOU TOOK US TO CHURCH!!"

Aand more IRL stuff yay. I guess this is to make up for how uneventful this past week or two has been.
I dunno what makes me feel so compelled to write notes whenever I get pissed off, but... well, it's just something I do, I guess :<
There's something our local newspaper has been doing that is incredibly annoying. They keep leaving these like, "teaser" newspapers in front of our door. I guess they're trying to encourage us to subscribe to the real newspaper, but this teaser thing is SO annoying. It's just full of ads.
What's even more annoying is that leaving shit in front of doors isn't allowed at this complex.

it'll be the last dp stuff for at least a couple days, I promise. sorry for the recent dp flood. I'm just having a problem because I've been drawing dp stuff traditionally for FOREVER and when I decided to go ahead and post the comic online, it occurred to me that I had never even drawn the characters digitally before. so I'm trying to practice really quick, hahaha.

I bought a jar of blackberry jam. omg omg omg ;__; I haven't had blackberry jam since Rex's mom made a jar for us like, three or four years ago hahaha. This jam obviously isn't as good as hers because nooobody can make jam like Rex's mom (her jam was the ONLY good thing about Mom and Rex being together lmfao), but it's still really good D8 <3

I ALSO FOUND OUT THAT WALGREENS SELLS SALSITAS. YESSS!
Salsitas = my favorite chips ever. Except I CAN'T EVER FIND THEM. God. The only place I ever find them at is in random vending machines hahaha.

lol wtf I did this picture in like three hours from start to finish. Dude my colored drawings usually take like, ten hours WITHOUT a background. I dunno, this one just went by reeeally fast. (although the background almost doesn't even count as a background since it's so messy hahaha.)
